Rare Auld Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Distilled at
BEN NEVIS DISTILLERY
The Ben Nevis distillery was established by ‘Long John’ McDonald in 1825. It survived up until 1955 when it was taken over by new proprietors with Joseph Hobbs as the manager. A 'Coffey' still was installed in the distillery for the production of grain and malt spirit to broaden the range of distilled whiskys.
1989 saw the Ben Nevis distillery acquired by its present owners Nikka, a Japan based whisky company, and in 1990 production of malt whisky continued.
