Our Chairman Euan Shand and Brand Ambassador Fergus Simpson have been working with BrewDog's Head of Distilling Steven Kersley and his team to create a very special whisky for their Boilermaker Series. Challenged to create a whisky to pair with Jet Black Heart, we think Skeleton Key unlocks new flavours deep in the heart of this stout.

The Boilermaker Series launched at the BrewDog AGM on April 6th and is all about stunning whisky and beer pairings. Our International Sales Executive Rachel Keane spoke at the AGM at the weekend to crowds who had come to hear more.

What BrewDog say: "The bold maritine and peat smoke aromas of Skeleton Key contrast the cacao, roasted coffee and berry fruits of the Jet Black Heart. The synergy between the roasted barley and peated malt form the backbone to this boilermaker. It’s a combination that shouldn’t work. But it does."
